Quality & Care

A Note Of Our Jewelry Quality & Care
At NODORY, we believe your everyday jewels should feel luxe, last longer, and move with you—wherever life takes you. While we craft our pieces with care and elevated materials, all metals can tarnish over time. Body chemistry, humidity, skincare, perfume, and even how often you wear them can affect longevity. Treat your jewels like the treasures they are, and they’ll love you back for years.

Gold-Filled
Gold-filled jewelry is made by bonding a thick layer of solid gold to a core metal using heat and pressure. It gives you the rich, radiant feel of solid gold—without the luxury markup. Unlike traditional plating, the gold layer is much thicker, making it resistant to tarnish and built to last for years with proper care.
Care
Remove before working out, showering, or swimming. Clean occasionally with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Store in a dry place, away from harsh chemicals or alcohol-based products.

Gold Plated
Our gold-plated pieces are elevated well beyond industry standards—we plate our pieces up to 30x thicker to extend shine and wearability. You get that gleaming gold finish you love, at an accessible price point.
Care
Avoid water, perfumes, and cleaning products. Wipe gently with the NODORY Polishing Cloth to maintain its glow. For deeper cleans, soak briefly in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.

18K Gold PVD Stainless Steel
Our most durable, waterproof option. PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) bonds a thick layer of 18K gold to stainless steel—making it ultra-resistant to tarnish, sweat, and daily wear. It’s made to move with you, from beach days to busy nights.
Care
Safe to shower, sweat, and swim in. Wipe clean with a soft cloth after wear. Store in a dry place to maintain brilliance longer.

Vermeil
Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is high-quality jewelry made by layering thick 18k gold over a base of solid sterling silver—giving you the luxe feel of solid gold with added strength and shine. It’s a step above standard gold plating, with a richer finish and longer-lasting wear when treated with care.
Care
Keep away from water, lotions, and perfumes to preserve the gold layer. Store in a dry, airtight pouch or jewelry box. Clean gently with a soft cloth—avoid polishing dips or harsh cleaners
